The Bear-twit Property is located in the Northwest Territories on the Twitya River. Access to the property is by helicopter from Norman Wells, NT, 186 km to the northwest, or from Ross River, YT, 257 km to the southeast. The property sits on a small plateau, just below treeline. The river lies at approximately 900 m; the top of the plateau is at 1360 m. Rugged peaks surround the muted topography of Bear-Twit.
Showings at the Bear-Twit contain sphalerite, galena, and tetrahedrite. The main showing consists of a high grade sphalerite and galena breccia infill at 1020 m on the southeast side of the plateau with bedding parallel galena, tetrahedrite and sphalerite on top of the plateau and in the ridge extending to the southwest from the plateau. During the 2007 field season detailed mapping was done to reconfirm results found by Cominco in 1973 as well as soil sampling of the plateau and northwest slope to test Cominco results and expand the geochemical knowledge of the property.
This project is currently available for option.
